Beyond its chic ambience and décor, the bar also boasts an international wine list, over 20 different scotches, and a cocktail menu with old favourites and new specialities like Watermelon Margaritas and Bombay Passions. For spirit lovers, you’ll also be able to select from a range of over 20 vodkas and gins including locally distilled BeGin, Patient Wolf, Melbourne Gin, and Four Pillars.
For the gents, the bar also offers a range of local and Australian bottled and tapped beers including James Squire, Holgate, Two Birds, O’ Brien, Furphy, Stone & Wood, Little Creatures, 4 Pines, and James Boags.
While you’re sipping on your martini or cosmo, which are Saros’ cocktails of choice, be sure to check out the modern European influenced menu from Executive Chef David Fernandez. Chef Fernandez has crafted a menu that features full-bodied, fresh Mediterranean-inspired dishes, with distinctive flavours including house-smoked, cured, infused, marinated and charred.
For a shared tapas style dinner be sure to try the smoky chargrilled lamb cutlets that come marinated in olive oil, fresh turmeric, cumin and cilantro, and served with garlic yoghurt and chermoula dipping sauce. For seafood lovers, you can’t go past the Kingfish ceviche, fresh oysters, or grilled calamari. And for those looking at something to nibble on while they enjoy their wines, there is also a cheese plate featuring seasonal soft, hard and blue cheese, quince jam, dried fruits and nuts, and seasonal homemade dips and chargrilled ciabatta on offer.
If you’re heading to Saros for a date night dinner, the menu also features larger plates including Blue Swimmer Crab linguine, herb and garlic Hanger Steak, pan-seared King Salmon, and Venison and wild mushroom risotto.

Said Executive Chef, David Fernandez. “There has been so much excitement in creating everything from scratch; from new equipment to building the team to connecting with new suppliers. Creating the dishes has been like art itself, and we hope many of these will go on to become signature menu items.”
